Here you can find the works of many young poets, including myself. Please feel free to browse around, but do not copy any of these works without giving proper credit or without asking permission, as this is against copyright laws. If you wish to submit a poem, click the link at the bottom of the page and e-mail me with your poem. When I have the chance, I will put your poems on my site, giving credit where it is due. Each week, I will feature a new poem that in my opinion is very well written. The rest of the poems can be found by clicking the name of the authors at the bottom of the page. Then you can open up the poems they have written from there. I now reserve the right to look over all submissions to my site to make sure that they do not contain any language that may be offensive to anyone. Not all submissions will but put up. If you have a poem you no longer wish to have posted on my site, notify me and I'll take it down as soon as I can. Have fun! |

by Sherilyn Baldwin
A corner engulfs my tears,
Flowing into the cracks
In the plaster wall,
Disappearing from sight, not mind.
A small form is hidden
By the shadows of a corner
Its body shakes and quivers,
Slight gasps emerging from the dark.
The tears flow around,
Pieces of a heart upon
The hard, tiled floor
Yet no one sees.
